I loved visiting the London Reckless after being a Chicago local for 8 years. The downside of the UK location is that they don’t have a database to help you look titles in stock in case you’re in a hurry to pick up a specific title :/ Otherwise who doesn’t like spending a la hour browsing through for a gem :) The shop was small, cozy & staff was friendly! Will be back next time I cross the pond again ✈️

One of the very few record shops in the UK that caters to my interests, also one of the very few to have a Japan Music section. Prices are on the higher side but staff are very pleasant and the stuff they get in is always in lovely condition. Very helpful if you do have a problem too.

Visited this shop on my last stay in London. It was recommended to us on Google Maps because of the excellent reviews and we weren’t disappointed. We spent quite a while browsing the large selection of vinyl and had a really good time with the many different genres and bands they have.Would totally come back in the future!

Decent selection of second-hand records, but prices are high, as noted in other comments. The staff were friendly and polite, except for one Asian guy. I gave way and smiled as he walked down the narrow aisle of the shop, but he glared at me as he passed, and without saying a word, flicked back a record that was leaning forward in the row I was looking at - even though I was still looking at that row. Some record shops have exclusive attitudes but I’ve never seen such passive-aggressive behaviour.

What a treasure trove of vinyl, definitely worth a browse because you never know what you might find - just like I did!
