This is one of the best Vinyl record shop in the city Melbourne. Lots of the selection is about Afro - Jazz, free Jazz with lots of classic records... A little selection of hip hop - electronic and dance culture too but the selection on those latest mention are a bit commercial. Definitely if you are a fun of Coltrane - Miles - Dolphy - Ayler - Sanders - Mingus and all they artist play around them you can find something interesting here.

Been in a few times and the selection is great, BUT today was the 3rd time I have turned up inside the advertised trading hours only to find the store closed. Called the listed phone number and waited outside for half an hour but nothing. Was ready to drop a couple hundred bucks but I will now take my money elsewhere.

Amazing record store! Huge collection of different genres, iconic location and very knowledgeable staff.Easy to use website and fast postage as well.

I loved it! You could play records with the store turntable and you could decide if you like it. The staff will teach you a lot about turntables and some tricks and tips you can use if you buy a record. The hip hop section is my favorite. The albums are super old school and they take you on a road trip. Prices are pretty good ($50-$60) for some pretty iconic records that you might see on the internet for over $100. Overall it is a amazing place and I would recommend it to any person who loves music.
