Michael Tarr

A wonderful chaotic mix of used and new music. Always friendly and helpful. Many treasures to discover. I look forward in visiting the shop every time I come to Brighton.

Tobi Blackman

Fantastic shop, especially when the enigmatic young man who looks like a cross between James Stewart and Morrissey is working . The proprietor is also a superb man. The shop houses a great collection of quality product, at reasonable prices.

Julian Hughes

The best record/CD shop for Classical, Baroque, Early music (and other genres!) in the Brighton area. Ever changing throughput of used CDs at great prices, excellent stock of new CDs and SACDs as well as fast, reliable ordering of anything available. Friendly, knowledgeable owner and staff. Recently I moved from central Hove to somewhere quiet on the other side of Brighton. I don't miss the traffic, I don't miss living near several language schools, I don't miss the sirens of emergency vehicles. I find I really do miss living near Fine Records!

Felix

I've been coming here for 14 years and there truly isn't a more awesome collection of pre-loved CDs and Vinyls for the discerning classical enthusiast. Take a few hours to rifle through the thousands of discs. And if you can't find exactly what you're looking for, they are guaranteed to have five copies squirrelled away upstairs. Ridiculously reasonable prices too! 10/10

The Purple Tortoise

man that owns the shop is rude and lacks in customer service. My wife took some old records in to sell and he was rather insulting and disrespectful to her. We haven’t been back since.
