This is a historical shop. Although the location has changed from the original. I gave it a four because the music was incredibly loud when we walked in. and they should really make the place look a bit more presentable. However they do have a great selection of old school records which I love and they're very knowledgeable and can direct you to what you are looking for.

Great collection of soul funk etc on vinyl, but prices aren't marked and its up to the owner. Very over priced for the records in the grades they are. I got soaked buying 12 for $140 of G+ at best graded albums. One is so warped it won't even play. The others are full of scratches etc. Bottom line check any vinyl before buying. And don't accept the first price given because the vinyl and sleeves are no way worth what they want in their current condition. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I attached a video of the Fatback Band album they sold me. Um Houston we have a problem.

Best record store in the BX!!! Went there on my birthday to go dig and Mr. Moodie offered me the very Max Roach album I was listening to the previous week!Even stranger, Max Roach died on my birthday!Moodie's cares about the music. We need more people like him in the world!
