My favorite coffee shop in the Greenpoint neighborhood.I come here often to get a coffee, a delicious apple turnover, and some work done. The owner Lucas is super friendly and kind, and there’s always some interesting music being played. It’s super spacious with many seating areas. Also fun to browse through the record collection.

For the Record is an iconic, music themed cafe that I regularly visit! The people there are fantastic and so are the drinks and pastries! Pastries do run out fast, so get in there and snag one while you can! Even if you miss out on pastries, grab yourself a delicious drink and peruse the records they have for sale inside! Pictured is an Iced Oat Milk Matcha Latte and their Almond Croissant.

Great coffee with a friendly atmosphere. Tons of records to browse through. For the Record is very community oriented with lots of fun activities posted on the cork board.

Have stopped by a couple times and each visit is always wonderful. The selection of records, the people behind the bar, and the coffee are all top notch. Love having this gem to return to for coffee AND vinyl.

This is a hidden gem, really captures the spirit of Greenpoint. It is very trendy, cute and community based— I would highly recommend. I like going here to work from home— big tables, easy to focus, sunny, bright, clean, homey. They play great music and the coffee is great. Owner is in often and is a great guy, he takes pride in the space and making sure that every cup of coffee he sells is his best. I think this place will/ already is becoming a neighborhood staple.
