My husband loved this record store!

A large record store, felt like I was walking into a Tower records. Great selection of vinyl, CDs, even VHS. Confusing layout though, I was expecting all of the vinyl to be together but they've got it in multiple parts of the store. Great deals to be had on used CDs ($3/ea, and cheaper in quantity).

The San Jose location is really nice and well organized, the Santa Cruz location was a bit of a mess with a poor flow and homeless camped in front of the store sharing joints.

Perfection. The metal selection isn't huge but makes up for it in pure quality. Only record shop I've ever seen with archspire and atheist lp's. Also great funk, rap, and rock section as well. Great AFFORDABLE prices make it a go to spot for when ever im in the Santa Cruz area

Great selection of vinyls, CD's, movies, etc. The only reason I am giving it a 4 star is because of the red haired cashier up front. I was going to ask if I could have a bag to carry my items in, but was afraid to ask as it might have been an inconvenience. I am a little intimidated to ask her any questions compared to the other staff. I will keep shopping here, but I just think her customer service needs to be worked on a little bit and have customers feel more welcomed.
