If I could give this place no stars I would! The man at the front counter was very rude and not helpful to customers. He said he was “closing early” and was rushing us out of the store. Also yelled at us saying no photography even though that rule was not posted anywhere in the store. Will take my business elsewhere! Man acted like he was the record king and that he couldn’t deal with us “peasants”

RetroFit is Florida's best record store. The selection is awesome, the shop is cool and has a unique atmosphere. The staff are friendly and willing to chat about music.

Was a little concerned at first, after reading the bad reviews but I was pleasantly surprised. Did use a mask, but gloves no longer required. The store was clean and inviting, with a good selection of all genres of music. A nice used section, which is what I always gravitate towards. The young lady at the counter was very friendly and we had a very nice conversation. Would I go again…….Absolutely I would.

For more than a decade, I have loved this shop. Everything from the vibes, to the selection, and how helpful and friendly the owner was. I actually came to this shop when it first opened. But man have things with the owner sure changed.Wear a mask (even though he won’t)Put the records back immediately after flipping through themAbsolutely no photosBe prepared to be yelled at for basically anything(Also, none of these rules are displayed anywhere in the shop. It’s cool to have your own rules and what not, but you really don’t have to berate people)Walked out feeling confused how a friendly neighborhood shop turned into this.

I visited a couple months ago and had a great experience! I recommend this store to any friends visiting the area. The collection is well organized and refreshingly clean (I’m used to dusty record stores). Awesome atmosphere. We found 6-7 albums and some great deals, especially in the used records section. There isn’t much parking, but we made it work. When we visited, they required masks and gloves, I’m not sure if they do now.The man who assisted us was kind and chatted with us ab the albums we chose. I’ve since followed Retrofit’s insta, and really enjoy the music recommendations. If you’re wondering about store hours, follow the insta! They post any unexpected hours there.
