A chill space on a street full of interesting places, Shady Rest is a great record store to hop into on your way to eat or grab coffee. The vintage love is real in this small space; it's got old audio equipment, film cameras, art books, cool lamps, and OBVIOUSLY, plenty of records. A small, but stylish place where you may find something amazing.

I found a stack of fantastic soul 45s in this shop, a few of which have become my favorite songs in my collection. Don’t let the small size of the store fool you. They have a wonderful selection, especially if you’re looking for new and used hip hop and world music. Very friendly and welcoming staff.
