Eclipse Records

The owner is friendly. This is my favorite record shop in Saint Paul. I appreciate the 45’s so it’s always nice to browse through whenever I visit. Eclipse Records selection for all music genre and soundtracks are great. Perfect store to add more dope vinyl to your collection or gifting to others. I think the prices are fair.

Update: so I've been here quite a bit over the last 12 months. I've updated some of the great first pressings I have picked up in the photos. Check this place out. NO JUNK! Good stuff!!! Also, HUGE selection of new vinyl and reissues. So worth your time so commit and check it out!The closest source for vinyl to me and that's a good thing. I've been here twice now, and both times I found plenty of nice selections. A wide variety of music, I noticed the classical and opera section looked very solid. Great selection of jazz, rock, indie, hip hop. Very cool vibe, nice to have a place like this around. Lot's of new records and the used vinyl I picked up was in great condition. I'll be back soon. Check it out and support a local small business.

Came here for my very first Record Store Day as a new vinyl collector. Definitely a fun little store to look around in! Staff was extremely nice, and had a LOT of fun looking around. Scored 2 of my favorite albums here at affordable prices. Very cool to see all the collectibles near/at the front counter, too! :)

Eclipse Records is quite possibly the best vinyl store I’ve had the honor of shopping at. The variety in music and amount of stock this store has is astonishing. Not to mention this stores atmosphere and worker, the man at counter played good music and way always there to help me in finding vinyl. I’d give this store more than 5 stars if I could and would absolutely recommend visiting.

I don’t have a record player so I didn’t grab anything, but my wife and I popped in to check it out. Guy was really friendly. So cool places like this still exist this day in age!
