The Vinyl Underground at 7th Heaven

Been coming here since I was a teen, and I’ve always been pleased with the selections and prices. Staff is super friendly and helpful, there’s a real community vibe here, and a lot to explore. They also have the best selection of incense sticks in town! My favorite record store in KC, hands down.

I did not feel welcomed in this place. This place is a backroom purgatory for those in the know. I don't care how good a record store this place purports to be, it's cursed, and I'm not likely to return. I couldn't even look at the record titles I was so uncomfortable. Next!

An extensive collection of new and old vinyl, organized and reasonably priced. After visiting a few other record shops in the area, this was my favorite. Friendly and very knowledgeable staff as well.For jazz, r&b, and classic rock lovers, you can't go wrong; could spend hours crate digging here.

I love this place. There are tons of different records, all well organized and if you can't find something the staff are more than happy to help look for it or order it. Every time I'm there I swear they e expanded into more rooms, and the prices are definitely hard to beat.

This is what a record store should be! I felt super welcome and very informed about the layout as soon as I walked in. I was visiting from Wichita and I made sure the staff was aware of my appreciation for a clean, well organized and curated store, helpful staff, very good prices and I found a few titles I had been chasing lately. Thank you guys for letting me kill a couple hours in your store. I wish I would've had more of a budget, but I'm probably losing my career of 22 years, so I took it easy. Please just know that I really needed a good experience that day and you brightened my gloomy mood to say the least. Rock on 🤘 . I'll be back next time I'm in KC.
