After visiting 10+ record stores in two weeks after I returned from 15-year absence from NY, this shop is the closest to my image of what a record shop used to be and should be. Nice feeling to dig through and between piles of boxes.

Awesome little hidden gem of a record shop. Great rare and off-the-beaten-path albums available here, and the selection rotates often.

Definetly in top3 of the record shops in NYC. I'm collecting 12" house, rap & disco, found nice stuff here, prices are reasonable and the staff is the nicest among all shops in the city. When I entered the shop I was shocked since they were playing Omega (hungarian rock band from the 70s) in the speakers. I'm also from Hungary, so this is not a common you can hear any hungarian music in NYC (it was fully accidential, they started to listen to the Lp before I stepped in). Its not in the downtown and takes some time to get here, but it worth.

I like this record shop. It’s well-organized and shopping here is a pleasant experience. I’ve found some real gems here, and have probably purchased more records at this shop than any other. Nice variety of genres if you’re eclectic like me. Pricing varies depending on record and condition from cheap to expensive, but has never been (in my opinion) unreasonable. Recommend for fans of vinyl.

This might be the best record store in New York. At the very least, it’s my favorite record store in New York. This store gets new stock in constantly, has a clean look to it and has the biggest organized 7” section I’ve seen in any record store.I got an original copy of The Velvet Underground and Nico here with the banana sticker only partially peeled off for like $125. I got a first pressing of De La Soul’s Three Feet High And Rising for $60. They get some solid records in for a little below standard Discogs prices. Also this place is near several other good record stores so if you’re just visiting, check out This store, Academy and Record Grouch.
