Reimagine Records

I stopped in a couple weeks ago and was incredibly impressed with their prices and selection. Walked out with four albums. have since played all of them and they all play like a dream! PLEASE check them out and support local!

Reimagine Records is hands down my favorite record store ever and not just for the vinyl selections! Michelle and Scott have a very obvious passion for music, vinyl, the eclectic and their customers. If they don’t have a record in store you were looking for, they will find it for you! Their prices are always more than reasonable! Always a friendly and happy atmosphere, you can’t help but stay longer than planned simply for the great conversations with the owners and other customers alike. So glad they are right in New Hartford!

Wanted to spend an off day and grab some records so I searched the closest (1 hour) with the best reviews so I chose Reimagine Records. Got there Monday at noon, excited..... and closed. Google says Monday- Saturday 12-4...I know people say look at Facebook for updated hours but I don't spend much time there at all. I am all for shopping local but I can never match my schedule up to get there within most small business hours.... Needless to say I scored 4 solid records at barnes &noble... so I guess it wasn't a complete wasted trip.

This store is fantastic! No matter how often you shop here Michelle makes it clear she cares how each customer is doing and will go out of her way to have a conversation. Scott however finds solace in VPI cleaning every used record they receive and I genuinely respect that not that he doesn’t converse with customers it’s just hard to do so with the sound of the vacuum of the cleaner. Lol. Once you get past the unorthodox sorting of the bins there are so many gems to find in them.

Michelle and Scott are awesome!! They know music and they know their stock. Great place to buy vinyl!
