It's a bit pricey, but has a lot of great stuff. They even shipped my albums to my out of town home for just $5 extra so I wouldn't risk warping them on a hot car ride home.

Awesome record store! Literally tons of records! I grew up in the record Era, and album art was huge back before MTV and YouTube. Even beige streaming, you'd just have to sit and listen to the songs for the first time, staring at every detail of the album cover art. Looking through the thousands of records at Guestroom Records, I've seen a lot of album covers that take me back to those younger days. And I just love when I find a favorite album from my youth that's not even on streaming platforms.

I've been a customer for years. Stopped in on my way to Thunder game to crate dig. Found some nice records and left a couple i thought i already had. Got home and i didn't have them after all. I called the OKC store and Brian assisted by getting the records i needed, paid over the phone and shipped them. I received them in less than 24hrs to Tulsa. Summary: Great selection, fair prices, fantastic customer service. Highly Recommended!

Their selection and turnover are not very good, we see a lot of the same copies over and over and not a lot new. The music they play for some reason is really off-putting, ironic for a music store. They'll order a record for you and tell you it costs one price but then when you pick it up it costs more than that. Employees are consistently rude. It's really too bad, I want to like this store. I much prefer the location in Norman, even though it's smaller. I feel like if guestroom had any real competition they would not have such a high rating...it's just the option we have, unfortunately.

Be sure to get a photo inside the store and put it up. One of my friends used to go in to buy shirts, stickers, music, pet the cat and hang out. Very 1979's vibe. Great record selection. Somebody said a girl who has been a national singer and others like her own this, but we DK exactly who. Oklahoma City is a place popular people like to come to because they can hang out without being bothered. This place often helps local live acts get on the Bill for The Blue Door Club a few blocks away. So they support old and new music and that and other live music venues. Thx!
