I am moving and have to get rid of stuff....I found 4 records tucked away in my stuff and I do recycling so I looked for a used record store. Sloth came up and they said they would look at them and maybe buy them.....I knew I wouldn't get much, probably not even enough to cover fuel to get there but I combined the trip with something else errand wise. I dropped the records off and the staff was great and they gave me a few bucks; the records got recycled and someone will enjoy them. Did I mention the staff was great? My experience was good and I will call it 4 stars. It looks like they have a lot of discs there, so if you are looking for some music, I think it is worth visiting. You might find a treasure or two.

Bought a copy of Ceremonials by Florence and the Machine when i got it home I noticed that both of the liner sleeves were torn by the edge of the records. Took it back just wanting to swap it for an undamaged copy or another record if they didn't have one. Had to have a 15 minute argument with the guy behind the counter who was absurdly rude and reluctant to take the damaged record back. I was accused of having caused the damage myself, patronized with the line "do you know how to handle a record?" and told that Sloth could not serve my high standards (paying $44 bucks for an undamaged LP seems pretty reasonable to me). The guy finally agreed to an exchange, I went to look at what other Florence records they had, and found Dance Fever with the exact same liner rips (now I knew what to check for they were clear even with the cellophane still on) both records were likely damaged at the same time when in transit.When I showed Mr unreasonable the damage on DF he grabbed it off me and ran in the back. I won't go back to Sloth Records I advise you against going there too. Zero Owls

Great store. Has a huge selection of punk and metal music, and all is fairly priced.

I have spent so much money here. love this place. Great selection although more recently I've been waiting longer between visits because I find the same records frequently. not an issue with the store though
