I went there on a Thursday before 8 PM which is the listed closing time on Google Maps. I called ahead first, because I know some places haven't updated their business hours since COVID started and I try to be understanding of that. He didn't answer, so I left a voicemail saying I was going to drop by.When I dropped by, none of the entrances into any of the buildings were unlocked. None of the ground floor buildings appeared to be open. I could see the Vin-L-Den sign and arrow, but no visible point of entry.I called again and left a message saying I must have missed him and to give me a call when he receives my messages. He hasn't called back yet. I'm tempted to believe this business is closed down, but the phone number is still active. You'd think he'd at least call and tell me he shut down.

No prices on anything and 99% of the stock was the same stuff you can buy for $1.50 at Value Village or Salvation Army. Nobody needs another copy of Streisand and Kristofferson or Barry Manilow’s Greatest Hits. But I guess you get it in a plastic sleeve here, so there’s that. Also very difficult to browse since the normal sorting conventions weren’t being followed (eg: solo artists sorted as Firstname Lastname instead of Lastname, Firstname). I’d much prefer to support independent record stores even if they’re only selling used records but I won’t be back to this one. If you want to browse and find something interesting, save your change from the parking meter and go to Sunrise, or make trip to Edmonton or Calgary.
