Great place for media. You can get movies, cds and other media pretty cheap but still functional. Staff is helpful and courteous.

I can't recall how long I've been dealing with The Beat Goes On, except if I recall correctly my earliest experience was trading in most of my VHS films and buying DVDs. I no longer live near one of their stores, so have been dealing with them online.Since we recently moved to a rural setting with poor Internet, we have a renewed interest in bolstering our collection of physical media. Specifically, we have been seeking Blu Ray and 4K versions of films as well as some "hard to find" titles on DVD.I was happy to find so many titles readily available. It is also great to have the "wish list" feature watching for films that they don't have on hand. Just beware: you have to act fast when you get the wish list notification!Prices are excellent. They understandably vary based on how new the film is and the media type (DVD vs Blu Ray vs 4K). Some discs are very hard to find, so these will cost a premium. Overall, there were only a few titles where I found a cheaper price elsewhere online.While I have not yet tested all of the media, my experience has been that TBGO sells quality playable media. All of the cases of my first batch purchase are "like new". I have a couple of dozen titles on the way and will update this review if I find anything other than what I expect.A big "thank you" to A Beat Goes On and their crew!I'll be back!

Love this store. Staff are friendly, decent trade-in rates, and great selection of media that are hard to find elsewhere.

Places like this are a dying breed, I love them so much, so much nostalgia. This business is doing nothing wrong, it's doing its best to ship its business to other places like toys and things people would want to buy.They still buy your old stuff and give you store credit, I like this place. I hope they make it through, I support them!
