Fantastic old school record store. Feels like a cozy carpeted den. Love the posters on the ceiling and the staff were super friendly and enthusiastic about music. Found some MC5 and King Crimson without much effort. Barely scratched the surface of this place in the half hour I spent there. Cant wait to go back

A mainstay of the Phoenix vinyl scene, this store has a variety of genres but I feel like they have a truly fantastic selection of hard rock, punk and metal. They also have a ton of hard to find Beatles albums. It's a small shop that is well curated and the prices are very reasonable. There are bigger stores in town but this place saves you a ton of digging. The fire is right where it should be!

I love Zia, but I love this place more. I almost don’t want people to know about it because I don’t want anyone getting the vinyl that I would get seriously they have too much vinyl it’s just an amazing place.

Great place to sell your vinyl collections. And to buy some too. HUGE selection. Awesome prices

One of my favorite (and unfortunately one of the last real) record stores in Phoenix. It’s like a treasure chest of great music and despite its cozy, hole-in-the-wall appearance, it’s so packed with great stuff that you could spend forever here. You can easily find anything from best-selling hit albums to obscure soundtracks you never knew anyone else had heard of.I especially appreciate that it’s not just a store full of new releases; I don’t listen to the radio often enough to know Top 40 and I’m not spending $50 for a shiny new press of terrible music (sorry). I leave Tracks In Wax every time with a giant smile on my face, always amazed at how awesome the selection AND the prices are.I love this place so much. I can’t wait to visit again and hope I’ll get to do so for a very long time in the future.
