Vinyl Record Dude

I am so glad I found this record store. I went in looking for a box to safely ship my son's valuable LP collection across country. I came out with a renewed sense of community. This is a tiny record store with a huge warehouse and online presence, to go with their huge hearts.When inquiring about the best way to pack LP's, employee Elvis took me in the warehouse and showed me exactly how they carefully wrap and pack stacks of records for shipment all over the world. He then offered to wrap and pack my son's collection for a nominal fee so that I could ship them myself without buying all the supplies. They didn't have to do that for me, it was purely a community service and has renewed my faith in the value added by patronizing a small business over a chain store (which would NEVER have even offered).Smartly decorated and well organized, this little store is tucked away just south of Redfield Road in the Scottsdale Airpark. A hidden gem indeed. They have been buying and selling vinyl online for over 20 years. Only in the last 2 years have they opened a physical store, and I'm thrilled they are doing well. I will be back!

A bit of a scavenger hunt to find but totally worth it. Great selection of classic vinyl, turntables and accessories. Huge online store as well. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Have fun going through the stacks of new arrivals! I found a bunch of treasures and will be back again soon!

My husband and I have been into this great little gem of a place. If you're looking for anything, this is the place you'll find it. If you can't find it here, Nick or Elvis will find it for you. Have records or stereo equipment just taking up space? Give them a call, they'll give you a fair and honest price. Check out the unique finds in their retail store! (Ask them about their other services like cleaning and flattening records.)

Pretty good new arrivals section but it's a pretty thin shop. Very helpful and nice though. In a really weird location in the burbs which doesn't help. But never hurts to stop by. They did have a couple cool records but I already owned them.

If you're going to buy records at all, it should be from Vinyl Record Dude. The library of records alone should be enough for anyone to shop here, but the employees are what really separate this place from any other. Easily the most knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate staff I've done business with in any way, not exclusively music. As an added bonus, they have all sorts of services that I never even knew existed. Pro-tip: take your entire library to get professionally cleaned.
