Tightly curated, quality-over-quantity record shop. Flipping through bins was a pleasure with tons of gems nestled amongst plenty of great records. You get the feeling that the bin contents have to meet a pretty high relative standard with regards to what makes it out there. The display racks have a great mix of bangers along with a few more esoteric and rare titles, spanning genres. Staff was super personable. Overall a great experience. Will be going back for sure!

Fantastic store! Satisfying for the advanced collector & intriguing for the beginners looking for adventure. Gimme Gimme is one of very few stores in Los Angeles that has a consistently great & consistently well stocked Heavy Metal section!!!! Highly Recommended!!

This has easily become my favorite record store! Always a great selection of new and used vinyl from popular classics to obscure gems. They carry a nice variation of genres from jazz to rock to hip hop and soul.

What a great shop! Awesome selection of punk vinyl and good tunes playing in-house. I could have spent hours flipping through the bins.

Found some good records in the shop at good prices. Only thing I was quite offended by is that the cashier would not accept any of my $100 bills because he said the borders were not even and he can get in trouble if it turns out to be fake. I own a business myself and those bills were checked by me at my store with my counterfeit detector so I knew they were real. He had a counterfeit detector next to him and I don’t believe he even ran the bills through it so it was purely an assumption that I was trying to get away with fraud at this shop. That certainly doesn’t make me feel comfortable to shop here again as I was honestly made to feel like a thief when I am not. As a business owner who has been a victim of fraud I would never wish that upon any other business owner so wouldn’t think of doing that to anyone else. Thanks for the deals but that’s definitely the last time I shop there
