Best spot for classic old school records. Kevin and his wife are both wonderful loving and welcoming. Kevin never disappoints with the amount of knowledge he has from his life experience and love for music. Just as well as his wife. Check it out. You won’t be disappointed.

Wonderfully eclectic shop. Owners are amazing and engaging people, happy to talk about the history of record collecting in Los Angeles. Stock is vast, but excellent for soundtracks & exotica. Still found mainstream items though. Lot of stock is in absolutely mint condition. Essential stop on the LA vinyl map. Worth negotiating on price if buying several items.

This place is a pretty amazing hidden gem off Hollywood Blvd. A little pricey. But very well curated and well kept. You can tell this record store has been around for a long time. Great selection. Doubt it’s possible to leave without something you’d love.

What a great little place tucked down a cute little side street. You won't find Tone Poets or other reissues here; what you will find is loads of original releases from the past 60 years or more. You will see other reviews complaining about the prices, but if you know what they are, it's extremely fair. If you're looking for Jazz or R&B, the selection is tremendous - you will not find a better selection in LA. I didn't look at the rock stuff, but I'm sure it's as good.Another thing you won't find anywhere else is the endless stream of fascinating stories from the owner, who knows everyone in the music world, and sells records to them too. Everybody from Quincy Jones to James Brown to Bud Shank to Muhammad Ali - and he has the photos to prove it!I left with an armload of rare jazz and a big smile on my face.
