Record Safari

As I heard about this record shop years ago on an Australian podcast and saw the YouTube documentary about Alex, I had to visit. Shop did not disappoint and really great sales person. Got a tote bag and sticker as I got talking and when she found out I was from Australia. Top notch service definitely come back to spend my $$$.

I LOVE records and Record Safari has PLENTY! Good finds at good prices... every used record I've bought here has been in great, near mint condition, I'm curious where they find them all in such great shape! Even if you just want to browse, go check out Record Safari. The staff is cool too, I had a lot to carry out, plus push my girl who's in a wheelchair, so one of the guys offered to help carry out my box of records, awesome dude! My girl found some great priced used cd's as well, she loves it as much as i do! If you're looking for a record you haven't found elsewhere, chances are pretty good that you'll find it here. And unlike other places, they have a restroom for customers as well... classy, Record Safari, thank you SO much! Do yourself a favor and check this place out. You may not walk out empty-handed! Looking forward to going back again and again.

This place is fantastic! My partner & I stumbled across it today while in town for vacation and found a lot of great stuff. We were both really impressed with the selection of new and used vinyl, and couldn't believe how EXTREMELY reasonable their prices were (especially by LA standards). It also looks like they have a lot of stuff that's still to be priced and put out for sale, and I really envy the locals who can shop here regularly. My only complaint would be that a lot of records were filed in the wrong genre, but that wouldn't stop me from coming back. (Okay, second smaller complaint: maybe get a sign for the door?) Seriously, though, if you're into buying records and not just looking for something specific, do yourself a favor and set aside some time; they've got a lot of stuff and it'll take you like at least an hour to do it justice.

Great record spot in SOCAL. Staff is super friendly and the place has a cool vibe to it with easy parking and good music playing in the background when you shop. Comfortable listening station, good prices, great record selection and best of all the records are in really nice shape!!! Records are thoughtfully organized which I love. Great spot to visit. Will go back as many times as I can!

Used & new records store with a big collection of classic rock, metal, alternative, funk & soul. Other genres as well but less 10-12 crates. Beverages available for sale while browsing!
