On two occasions over the past year, I expressed my interest in violin lessons and was told I would receive a call back to book a lesson, but I never received a call. I then went into the store for a second time to book my first lesson, had it, and was then told my violin teacher would no longer be teaching, so I'd be matched with another violinist. 6-months later, and I am still waiting for this "call back."Because this has happened multiple times here, I have no desire to keep chasing a business to do what they said they would. When booking classes, you get the opportunity to connect with each person's story and learn the special place an instrument/music plays in a person's life, so to be disregarded repeatedly is a little disappointing.UPDATE TO YOUR RESPONSE: The information in your response is not what I experience at all. I was told Ms Cecilia would no longer be teaching lessons as she would be furthering her educating in music. I was NOT offered another option for lessons, I was told I would receive a call back when schedules became finalized. I have an extremely flexible schedule as I work for myself, so I know for sure I did not turn down the opportunity to take lessons with another teacher. You did NOT call me to inform me of any openings in June, I actually went into the store to enquire about lessons AGAIN, that is why I then received a call back to arrange a time. With the time you took to find false receipts to try invalidating my experience, you could have given me a call if you truly "cared," or simply took the feedback and moved on. Do better.

Came by Friday to get fret buzz fixed and was told if not possible I'd receive a call.Mike was super friendly about it and helped me out. No call the day after so I assumed it would be done. Called today afternoon asking when I should pick it up, and was told that the owner is not replying. Fitz was super attentive and really caring about this situation. After some back and forth calling I was told to come by the shop today at 4:30 to pick it up, and after arriving was told that the owner hadn’t even come by to fix my guitar yet. The owner came in a couple minutes later asked me “You can’t wait 5 minutes for me to fix this up?” So I agreed and let him. He just changed my strings and put oil on it. I had asked for my fret buzz to be fixed, hence why I paid money for new strings. Not for a string change. He told me he had other things he had to do, and how he did me a favor because he doesn’t usually work on the weekends.Had he contacted me earlier like they said they would, I would’ve been completely fine with this. Staff were super nice though.Edit: Wouldn’t have edited it had the owner not twisted the story to his advantage. I never said I was happy about picking up unfinished work, I had no choice but to. I can’t trust someone that lies. I was promised a call, and you guys messed up there because of the lack of communication. The ticket date reads, “Date Promised: 12/3”. So I expected it to be done at 12/3. Like I said earlier, I would’ve been fine with it had you told me in advance because I too have things to do.

I came in to sell records to this store.Although the clerk chose not to buy most of the records I had a good conversation with the store owner about the transaction and he offered me some store credit in order to help me. So I appreciate that he took the time to discuss this issue with me.I also sold two keyboards to the owner two months ago and he gave me a good price for them. I recommend doing business at this store because they value their customers.

So great to have a full service music store in Avondale. They have lessons, rentals, repairs, instruments and records! Full Service y’all! Friendly and knowledgeable staff can help you with what ever it is that you need. I’ve gotten guitar pedals and strings there several times now. Parking in front is limited but there’s spaces in back as well.

I visited this store which was rated as a great pace to sell vinyl records. Well I agreed to sell some of my records for a paltry $25 to be received via cash app, even though the clerk told me the owner has a habit to forget things, but I was assured my money would’ve be sent the same night or next morning. Still have not received my payment. Extremely unprofessional especially for such a small amount of money. Extremely disappointing and dissatisfied and would advise against utilizing this service
