Fantastic hole in the wall record shop! If you’re a fan of some good ol’ fashioned crate digging this is the record store for you! John (owner) always has a seemingly endless supply of crates, bins, & boxes of LPs, 45s, cassettes, and CDs coming through the shop. There’s a great assortment of new, pre-owned, and discount $1 bin records all ranging from rock, pop, soul, funk, jazz, country, and everything in between. I guarantee you’ll always come away with a gem for a great price! Or, if your looking for something specific John will help you find it. Also, I highly recommend taking some time to strike up a conversation with Johnny Metro. He’s been a staple in the Cedar Valley record/music scene for years and is a super knowledgeable dude when it comes to music/records. He’s also a very talented local musician with some great stories to share!

I really enjoy this shop. John is a legend not just in the world of record shops, but in the Iowa Music scene. He works really hard to offer a great selection of quality new and used vinyl.A must stop when In the Cedar Valley.

Very awesome. My first time ever walking into a record store. The older gentleman in charge of the place was very authentic and chill.Yes the place smells like smoke, but what do you expect a record store to smell like? This place has a very That 70s Show feel to it. Love it.

Friendly service and great rock/blues/jazz selection. My daughter picked a Nina Simone album.

Nice establishment, has a nice selection, but smells like smoke inside store. Other than that complaint it is a good store the visit if you are into vinyl records and want to add to your collection.
