Visited here in Sept 2021. Fantastic record store with an envious electronic section! Grabbed myself the latest Joy Orbison mixtape and a Gold Panda EP that I'd yet to find in any of my record store ventures. Reasonable prices as well!

Awesome music store. I love the wholesome laid back vibe there. Great selection of albums and CD's in many and various genres. Cool vintage stereo equipment for sale. The only negative is lack of parking space.

Harvest Records in West Asheville is rad. They've got (obviously) all kinds of vinyl, both new and used, as well as CD's and new and used stereo equipment plus books and DVD's and even some other stuff like new & used cassettes, 45s, and used 78s. If you love music you need to check this place out. If you want to get rid of your music collection they buy stuff and give you cash or store credit. The most recent time we were in there they had an art show going on and there were some photos shot on film hanging on the wall as well as some cool macrame plant hangers. Another cool part of the shop is the 'staff picks' wall where you can see what other people are listening to and then check it out for yourself. I also really like the small-ish section that is devoted to the latest album from bands that are about to visit town. Last but not least you can get tickets to the Mothlight, Grey Eagle and Orange Peel (music and event venues in Asheville) at Harvest Records and save yourself a few bucks in fees.

This record store is incredible. Probably the best I’ve ever been in! Love this place.
