Cool shop that deserves a lot more attention! A clean, fun store with one of the best walls I've seen at any record store. I adore the paint job on the front! This place is excellent for discovering new artists, with generous country, jazz selections. The best part of this display is the section devoted to local gems. Even though I can't always afford everything that I'd like, Records in the Rad has clear care put into its curation. Definitely worth a stop. Bonus points for cool t-shirts, posters, artwork, and air conditioning!

So excited to finally get to this store! Great layout, good selection of new and used records and fair prices, and a better selection of art and books and vinyl adjacent goodies then most other shops. I like the genre classifications, too. The owners were super nice and happy to talk music. It's legit!

A seriously beautiful record store that made me smile. Not only is there a substantial amount of vinyl, there are also concert posters and vintage t-shirts. It is in a fabulous location, with restraints and a lovely river view. I definitely recommend checking it out.

Out of all of the record stores that I visited in Asheville, this one takes the cake for the biggest selection, reasonable prices, and quality used vinyl. Great rock, r&b, and jazz selection, as well as cool art and clothing for sale

My wife and I own a record shop and any time we visit a new town, we always make a point of hitting all of the local record shops. Today we visited Records in the RAD and dang…it is easily one of the best curated shops we’ve been in. At the risk of coming across as “that guy”, when you own your own record shop, it’s hard to be caught off guard by another record shop. Today we were caught off guard by Records in the RAD. Easily spent over an hour digging, dug every single bin, and ended up checking out with a massive stack of top quality vinyl. If you ever find yourself in Asheville, this place is a crucial stop!
