Blu Music

Me and a couple of friends took a trip down to philly to see a show and decided to stop here and man what a great idea. Dude inside was extremely nice and helpful. Plus hell is he cool! Talked to us about a ton of old bands and a little bit of history on his shop. Definitely go check this place out, even if it is a little cluttered and dirty I promise the experience is worth it!

Still open in September 2021. Owner says the hours posted are good, but sometimes he has to step out for a little bit, so I'd check back if it's closed. I have no quibble with the posted reviews, but I had a great experience looking for blues records. He also seems to have rock, soul and metal vinyl. I came away with some original LP albums of things I never knew existed; some in really decent condition and some good but all at great prices. Looking forward to my next trip!

A small record shop specializing in relatively old records. A bit disorganized at the moment, but that adds some charm in the search of some overlooked gems. Tapes are very affordable and plentiful. Owner was very friendly and willing to strike up a conversation about obscure European rock bands. 👍

Place is filthy and crammed with records. The selection is hard to beat and so are the prices, but you better be careful about the condition of the records you're buying. Everything I got there sounded bad when I got back home. Some were just dirty, others were worn out. But if obscure classics are what you seek, you'll probably find them here, alongside a few coughs and a good chat with the owner.

Cool place and found some good records. However, went there few years ago. Was very dusty, dirty, cluttered, smelled like cat pee. Had to do alot of digging to find anything. But perhaps the friendly owner has cleaned it up a bit since then.
