Definitely worth browsing, Vinyl Guru is run by a friendly and helpful owner. Great eclectic mix of rock, jazz, blues, garage. During my first visit, I walked out with 4 rare and obscure albums at great prices. Take the time to look.

I would like to point out while Vinyl Guru Record Shop may be small and such, they are going through some intense renovation and organizing on floor inventory. I highly recommend visiting this store STILL. I've bought amazing albums here in the past! (Also, it's the last standing independent record shop in Newport... support small businesses!!) They're off the beaten path for tourists and music lovers alike. They have a great selection of weird and obscure psych rock and prog, if that's your bag (visit the VG discogs for our rarest stuff)!! Also, an amazing dollar bin section for all you crate diggers out there!! Lots of classic rock, blues, r&b, folk and country too! Fair and low prices on everything!!! VG is pumping out new arrivals on OG pressings and new stock DAILY!! Keep on guruvin' y'all! 🎧🎵 Woo

Great little record shop. Found some awesome rare vintage metal albums at reasonable prices. Will definitely visit again next time I'm in Newport.

My wife and I visited looking for some great vinyl deals after a long day of Hiking the Cliff Walk....can't say we found deals, but it seems there are some nice OG pressings throughout the small collection here; so know your history before you go...saw a couple RSD 2021 drops among the catalog there!
