Amazing record store, it was under construction and a lot of items were still being moved around. Would have given the shop a 5 star review otherwise. Bought some cheap used cd's and found rare titles even for 5$ each. Seems like THE place to shop in Montreal for music.

When I’ll die, I want to become a fly and wander in this store until I perish once again, 28 days later (that is the lifespan of a fly according to google). In other words, Its a wonderful record store. Great vibe, great music, great stuff. would recommend 10/10

The WORST customer experience I’ve ever had in Montreal!! I went to exchange a gift I bought 3 days ago WITH THE RECEIPT and it was denied because the seal was damaged. The worst part is was the owner was EXTREMELY RUDE!! I used to shop there in a weekly basis because I work nearby but I’m NEVER coming back and don’t recommend to anyone who doesn’t want to be ill treated. This was a customer right violation and I’m opening a complaint at Quebec Costumer Protection!! Never again!!AFTER ANSWER: I'm editing this review to respond to the answer given, since I don't have that option. How come I felt I was rudely treated? When I said I was upset for your return policy being this strict, you answered "And I'm upset for having to deal with this kind of request", in a loud tone. What kind of answer is that??? Even your employee was embarrassed by your atitude. What do you expect from owning a store? Exchange gifts are a VERY NORMAL kind of request, even after the product is open! How would someone decide if it's worth keeping the product after not having looked at the booklet -- by the way, the single didn't have any.Also, look at your 1-star reviews. MANY people are complaining about your rudeness! You not even said sorry. NOW in a public statement, of course you do.I work in the neighbourhood and went to your store in a weekly basis on my lunch break, me and my husband bought over 20 vinyl there this year, and we are NEVER coming back and NOT recommending it to anyone. We try to support local businesses, but you are right, is better to buy at Amazon, so we don't get that kind of attitude! Bragging about a 1984 outdated policy won't keep your business up. CHECK YOURSELF, because being gentle to your clientele is the ONLY thing that will keep your business up, and that is obviously not happening.

I appreciate the collection and the service.Genuinely, I am worried about the structural integrity of the building. The stairs are greatly slanted, the floor carpet is so trodden down there are holes, shelving is pulling away from the wall, and it genuinely looks like the walls and ceiling are separating from each other. I felt unsafe in there.I hope they can find a new location, but as it is I will not be returning. I love myself a store with character, but I doubt this building would pass a safety inspection. Will be happy to hear if I'm wrong.
