Wired Records

Went in today as a newbie to the vinyl world. Thought I had left it behind years ago. Spoke to the owner and he helped me with a couple of issues.Polite friendly atmosphere, all ages were in there and was very nostalgic to stand and flick through the albums.In a world where we can have everything at the press of the button, it was great to work for what i wanted. 6 mile round trip walk, half an hour flicking through the albums and a well earned beer and chill out listening to the stone roses when I got in.Will definitely be back.Thanks for your help.

I really like this record store. It's a little bit out of my way but it's always rewarding when I leave with a record. This store tends to have a good variety of records, in my opinion. It's my go to. It also depends what you're looking for but I'm always happy when I leave here and if you can't find what you're looking for, Mick the owner will happily accommodate you.

A fantastic record shop, one of the best I have been in. The owner is friendly and knowledgeable and he has a fantastic collection of records, many of which I have never seen ‘in the wild’ before. If you are into metal, you are in for a real treat. You won’t find stacks of Jim Reeves or Val Doonican in here. Shop is large and records are not stuffed in tight as a nun’s either. If you are in the area and love your records, this is the place to go.

Mick is very knowledgeable and friendly, a great and varied collection too.

‘Popped’ into Wired Records today for a browse with the kids before visiting the grandparents (we are not local to the area). The owner Mick pointed us in the direction of singles and albums that myself and the kids were interested in.We were in the shop for a while and felt most welcome being able to browse, listen and chat. Left just under an hour later with a VERY full and mixed bag.Would absolutely recommend and will be visiting again next time we’re in the area.
