Grapefruit is a fantastic record shop! All their LPs are the real deal. They have a solid selection of vintage record players, stereo heads, and speakers too! This place has everything you'll need to get you on the right track in the world of records! The best thing about the store is the staff! They are straight up honest with you on the condition/quality of things and are nice enough to work with you a bit on pricing. Grapefruit doesn't have as much variety as a place like Homer's and are almost exclusively vinyl records with the exception of a small CD and cassette tape rack along the wall but that being said I still go to Grapefruit first every time!

Great selection of new and used records, good atmosphere, & a fun dig in some crates for discounted vinyl. We picked up a couple LPs by artists local to Omaha, and a few fair priced used records. Definitely worth the stop!

On a very brief visit to Omaha I had the good fortune to trip over this gem of a store. I was looking for an album that hasn't been easy to find. Usually when I ask about this album, I get the big shrug off. These guys took the time to look the artist up to see if they could order it. I deeply hope that we all wise up quickly and realize that we are better off with small, independently owned stores and the experience they provide.

One of the last truly great record stores - not just in Omaha, but anywhere. I've been a regular shopper at the late Other Music in NYC and New Rose in Paris. This is that kind of record store.

At last! A true vinyl shop that isn't overpriced and is dedicated to customer service. Simon and Mike are just what Omaha has been missing since the basement of the Antiqarium.
