Absolutely one of the best record stores in Atlanta. A hidden gem tucked away in oak Grove. Owner of the store is the nicest guy in the world and always puts up with my antics of making him pick a record I can't leave without.

The spot is about 30 minutes away from me but always worth the drive. They have a well maintained selection but I go there often just to get records cleaned for a low price. I went today and the guy was nice enough to run my record through once, throw it on the turntable to check the spot in question, then run it through again. Wouldn’t expect them to always have time for that but pretty great customer service for someone who wasn’t even spending much money.

This record Store offers an astounding collection of vinyl. The prices are fair and the quality of each record is superb. The staff is always friendly, helpful and engaging! A lot of customers that go to record stores complain about employees being rude. all you have to do is engage the employees and not be afraid to ask questions and you'll see if they're not rude at all they're just busy. The visit the store and you will walk out with something you love that is of high quality.

I've been buying music here since I was in high school in the early 2000s. I LOVE this place, and I think it's great that they are now specializing in vinyl. I have to be careful not to visit on payday because I always find Sofa King many great records, records I just HAVE to have. Rent can wait if I have a chance to get an import first pressing of the Clash's Sandinista! Over the years, Don (I'm pretty sure that's the owner's name) has turned me on to too many artists to count. Were it not for him, for example, I'd have no idea who Terje Rypdal or Arvo Part are, and I wouldn't know to grab just about anything on the ECM label. I haven't stopped by in a while for various reasons, but now that I finally have a working turntable again, I'm sure I'll be spending a few (hundred) dollars here in the coming months. My one gripe is that the website is on Facebook, and I haven't had a Facebbok account for at least five years. Still, I know I can always call or swing by if I'm looking for something in particular, and even if they don't have exactly what I'm looking for, I know I'll find AT LEAST 10 things I want. I didn't know I wanted Opeth's Damnation on vinyl until I saw it in the store. Then, as is too often the case in good record stores (or book stores for that matter), I just couldn't help myself.Keep up the good work--I love you guys!
