B Smith

Nuts about this place! It is perfect for: audiophiles, historians, fans of every musical genre including blues, jazz, classical, musicals, hip hop (R and B to my generation), country, folk, and other treasures. The walls are filled with memorabilia; the collections are organized perfectly by genre and artist. If you can't find it here it never existed. And if you don't see it ASK! I was referred to this brother-owned (55+ years and thriving) records place but for repair of a newly-acquired turntable. Randy diagnosed the simply issue by taking it apart in front of me, explaining the relatively easy fix, and charged me very little money for the process. It looks like an old dive bar from the outside but don't be fooled. This is as good as it gets.

This place is stacked high and wide with albums from all genres and eras. Seriously, I've never seen so many. The downfall is that it can make it hard to find what you are looking for, so make some time to scavenge through but also the staff are more than happy to help so just ask. You can also view what they have online and they will find it for you! Some rare and sought after albums here!

Incredible store and overall cultural experience. Spend an hour in the store looking around and you might find yourself back in time.

Glynn 'MayorOfMotown' Hall

They wanted to sell me a reprint (on the Motown label) of The Temptations' "CLOUD NINE" album (which originally was on the Gordy label, in 1969) for $42, when it has no virtual value as a reprint, yet, had it been on it's original 'GORDY' label then it would've been worth every penny.
