It may not be the biggest record store in Chicago but the location, the ambience and the staff are excellent.Everytime I step in, I dive through their catalog and I ussually find some good music to listen to.It is common to have good conversations here with music enthusiasts from all over the world.Once I asked the girl at the register for some recommendations and I must admit that she was very good to me, I also had the opportunity to listen to a bit of the album before buying it.

Super friendly staff. I have shopped at all the Reckless locations across Chicago and in London, U. K. A Chicago institution, still going strong after many years. When all the other music stores were closing in the downtown area, Reckless opened up here on Madison to save the day.
Borriraks Rattanawangcharoen (吳子牙)
Lots of old records and CDs that you might not be able to find them in Asia, or too costly for you to get it. This place offers both 1st hand and good quality 2nd hand CDs. Oh, they always have good tunes turning on while you are in the store too. Quite impressive

Really neat place! They have two other locations in the Chicagoland area, and they all feel pretty well stocked. I've bought a few albums from them in the past, most recently Dio's Holy Diver (played pristine!)

Stopped into Reckless while in town to see Pearl Jam. Cool store with a legit record store vibe. Diverse selection of jazz, rock, electronic and more. Also sell cds, cassettes and dvds.
Easily the best record store I've been to since starting my vinyl habit! Great selection of vinyl and nicely organized too. Friendly and helpful staff. I got two albums that I had been searching for so I'm very happy.
