Visiting from the DC area and LOVED this record shop. I limited myself to one record this trip - Yacht Soul. Something I’ve never found anywhere else.Cody was extremely friendly and offered great recs based on my tastes. Will order the Wamono A to Z collection soon.Great vibes, music, and service.

Took me awhile to write this review but stopped in toward the end of August while visiting a friend who lives in Boston. Good Taste Records made me wish there were places like this here in New Jersey. Such a friendly staff, loved talking and sharing about our love for music. I ended up buying one vinyl in store and I have ordered online as well and the vinyl was shipped safely and quicker than I expected. I will definitely be going back when I’m in Boston next!

The owners of Good Taste Records are tremendously accommodating and helped me find a special edition record that was in limited quantity. I developed a dialogue with the owners to ensure that what I wanted could be found on my behalf and be made available to me. Their pricing is fair, and I was treated with great respect as a patron. In addition, the record shop is beautiful inside with a plethora of memorabilia, various genres and ages of music, and a listening booth to test records. It is one of the cleanest and well-run record shops I've ever seen, and I highly recommend stopping here when you tour the North End.

These guys rock! I was visiting Boston and was headed out of country for a couple weeks, they let me purchase some records, held them at the store for a while then shipped them to me at my home in Denver. It's a small shop with a lot of personality and great customer service. My Street Fighter 2 style t-shirt with a vinyl record/hoduken on the front is the epitome of the thing I always needed but never knew I wanted.

I don’t think you can understand how blown away I was when I first heard these tracks in your record store. 52 years old, a lifetime fan of classic rock and disco, this is just magical. Thank you!
