Pretty decent shop by Cleveland record shop standards. The guy there behaves cordially but doesn’t seem like he likes people all that much. The result is intense. Plays jazz which is cool. Small shop but good selection. Also a cool neighborhood to explore. Get a record or two, get glared at and enjoy

Smaller shop but very well-curated. Got all yr cool records from across the genres, including plenty of international stuff like on Strut, Analog Africa, etc. Reasonably priced, friendly folks. Not everything you need, but then again, you have to get out of there because you have to go play pinball all day next door.

Solid record store in the heart of Cleveland's Gordon Square Arts District! The store selection is modest and nicely focused. Hausfrau stocks new and used vinyl with a nice variety of alternative, jazz, dance, dub, dancehall, electro, classic rock, indie, garage, punk, and music compilations. The records are reasonably priced and the inventory is not too overwhelming. I recommend!

Fantastic record store! All kinds of stuff, but it’s the best selection of punk and post-punk in CLE. Good mix of used and new and prices very reasonable. You’ve got to check this place out!

I really liked this place. Although small, the selection was still quite diverse. I appreciated not only how well it was organized, but the how. Hausfrau takes the alphabeta approach, which bypasses the whole genre/misplaced artist debacle. No genre sections, no problem. Many of the albums had descriptive labels such as "French bossa nova" and "hypnotic Tanzanian guitar" as guides. Although I tend to favor used albums and this store appeared to have mostly new; I found the prices to be very reasonable. I ultimately walked out with something I wasn't looking for or really familiar with...
