Cashier was very rude to customers with children visiting the store. There are many options for dining in the area and there is no sign that states “No outside Food or Drinks allowed while shopping!” My nephew drink a cups with watered down soda with ice on the floor. I immediately made eye contact with the cashier and she rolled her eyes and had a attitude once I requested paper towel to clean the mess. While cleaning up, she decided to stare us down and approach me as I clean up. I asked why she gave the look when it happen.She stated” I was scared!” I asked what is there to be scared of when a half filled cup of melting ice fell? I explained to her that “ there is no reason to be scared, I am cleaning up the mess!” I proceed to ask for her name and she refused to give it to me. I will be reporting her actions to the owner and manager. We choose to take our family to the Record store as a educational moment that was ruin due to her actions. I cleaned up the mess before I realize it was a legit issues so I don’t have a photo. No items or merchandise was damage during this incident!

Loved this store! Very beautifully decorated inside and they have a vast selection of genres. Their Local Dallas merch was so dope. Please stop by and see for yourself.

Spinster Records is a local favorite and has all of their vinyls perfectly organized in a clean, beautiful space, located right on Bishop Ave and in the middle of Dallas’ hip art district. I cannot say enough good things about David, who was incredibly helpful and knew EVERYTHING about his vinyls. His kindness went above and beyond his duties, as he shipped a vinyl across the country with a handwritten note. If I could give Spinster Records 6 stars, I would, just for David’s amazing attentiveness. Don’t miss a chance to visit this local gem to find your new favorite vinyl. We will be back!

Great locally owned record store. Perfect sized inventory to either stay awhile or drop by. Displays make it easy to see top selections. Nice selection of new and used records. Made it a point to stop by while visiting Dallas after seeing their Tik Toks. They sell some amazing store and Oak Cliff swag. The this whole area of Oak Cliff is fun. Lots to do.

Friendly staff and a great selection. Definitely gonna visit this place more often.
