Josey Records is a vinyl lover's dream! I particularly enjoyed the "collectible" section. The only complaint is that it can be overwhelming to know where to start. The store almost needs a map. There is a GREAT selection of new vinyl, and I found some good ones. There is also a huge selection of $1-2 records and 45's etc. There is so much in this store. Plan to spend at least an hour on your first visit. We went as a group and everyone found something to look at. There is also a reward program that's not really advertised that ties to your phone number. Their website is AWESOME and I love getting records here. Can't wait to see Josey again soon!

Really cool record shop! Easy to lost in there and have a very good collection. Cool atmosphere and they play some really cool music in there too.

Love coming here & browsing through the aisles & I never leave empty-handed. Amazing selection, so there is something for everyone, including CDs, books, posters & random gift ideas. Staff is friendly, helpful & knowledgeable. Its a far drive so I'm eagerly awaiting for the new Plano location in 2023!

I’ll preface with I am not a local, was in Frisco and made it here on the last day of a work trip. The store was great, well curated, new and used stock was separated and the bins were easy to flip through. They have a large selection of cd’s and movies as well. The staff was welcoming and friendly. I was able to have them ship the records to me as I was traveling which I consider a huge bonus. They have a good number of more desirable records at the front of the shop and their pricing was reasonable across the board. If you are budget minded they have a huge section of $1-2 records in bins so they are easy to flip through. Must stop if you are local or visiting.

I make it a mission to check out record stores in each city / state I visit. Really nice location and the parking made it great (coming from California). They had a wide variety of rock n roll, jazz, blues. The rap & hip-hop vinyls are severely overpriced. Nice staff, no one was hounding me to see if I needed help. They just let me enjoy the vibe of the record store.
