The Mosh Pit is my favourite shop in Newcastle, l always look forward to seeing what surprises they may have there for me when l visit, (visiting at least two times in a month), l'd visit more often if l could, being from The Central Coast, l can only come by when working in Newcastle. The staff are always helpful, cheerful and even generous if you spend a little more, which is easy to do...lol. Keep up the positive vibe, please don't change anything, love it as is. A fan, Peter B.

Great selection of tape,cd,record and some extras. Found some really obscure albums for great prices that I snapped up.Looking forward to the hunt next time I'm up that way.Staff/owner seems like they love what they do and sends that message to customers. Thanks

It’s a great place overall with an amazing selection but probably won’t return due to two reasons. The first being I was guaranteed the tapes had all been played and checked for quality control— I bought 10 cassettes and only 4 worked, I was also not given a receipt so there wasn’t anything I could do to confirm I had bought them from there. The second being; it is clear they have priced their CDs based on the top tier collectors selling price. It is quite often cheaper to buy from overseas sellers including the postage, which is discouraging because we all love to support local. It is is quite discouraging to see a digipak promotional single with a single song by AC/DC on it for $65, just because it is AC/DC. Rather than the actual worth ($10)

Awesome selection, every evolving stock, always something new to discover

This is the only place I buy my music from now. The owner adds value to the entire experience and goes above and beyond to track down new and old music in any format. I've gained a nice collection from The Mosh Pit and hope to continue to long into the future. This store has become a mecca for music and another reason to visit The Diff.
