An absolute Aladdin’s cave of aural treasures, packed into a tiny narrow space in the bustling heart of Brisbane Street. The owner has extremely excellent taste in music (we must be distant relations or something), as the shop is chocker block with top quality collector’s item goodness in the form of vinyl, CDs, music merchandise, and even DVDs. I won’t bother shopping anywhere else for my vinyl fixation supplements since discovering this awesome establishment. The staff are also super friendly, the atmosphere is buzzing, and the original artworks on the wall by local artist Marcus Hardwicke are something to take time to admire. Coffee shop next door with more paintings by this artist. A real treat!

Cal & Sam compliment each other perfectly. Their music knowledge is as extensive as is the record stock in store. All gradings are very accurate and I have never had a complaint.

I’m so sorry I don’t know his name, but the tall guy with the long hair is incredibly helpful. Amazing service, super friendly and personable :) great experience!

Visited Launceston and as an avid vinyl collector went here on two occasions. Friendly staff and a good selection of vinyl on offer. My issue is once I got back home and played the records out of the 12 records I purchased, 4 off them had major skips/jumps that aren’t fixable. They were second hand but not bargain basement prices. A grading on records wouldn’t go astray here as if I had known they were so terrible I wouldn’t have purchased them.

Best record store in Tas. Staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. They give every 2nd hand record a deep clean before it hits the shelf. Nothing worse than getting a record home only to find a thick layer of dust that has built up over years of neglect. I’ve pulled some absolute gems out of here including my prized 1988 Oz pressing of “Farther Along: Best of the Flying Burrito Brothers”
