Steady Beat Records

I am not an experienced record aficionado, I am just a guy who likes records, but it was pretty obvious from talking to the owner for about five seconds that he is definitely a person, "in the know", when it comes to this industry. He had tons of cool stories about how he got his collection, the records that he is pressing through his own label, etc. His shop is more-than-likely going to end up on one of those niche, collector shows at some point, I have never seen a selection like that (many, many titles and artists that were new to me). If you like records a lot or if you are just interested like me, I recommend you check this place out, you will likely find something fun.

Happened to catch that this cool little spot had opened up on Gaffey on my way home from grocery shopping (now that I've been getting out more with the pandemic easing off) and had to swing back by after dropping off at home.Great selection and variety, great prices and the staff were very friendly. Willing to have a conversation as much as they were willing to let me kick back and dig. Very good vibes.Hope to return soon! In my opinion a quality record shop like this has been missing from the Pedro area, especially with the re-rise in popularity of vinyl.

Friendly management and a great mix of classic records, I was able to find a few old house 12” records that brought back fun memories ✌🏼 Will be back.. I highly recommend this spot. AAA+

This place is really cool!!! I will definitely come back here to purchase some records.. bought me a SkinHead Reggae album and a record player for a very good price!! King Steady Beat has cool selection of music .. you'll leave happy trust me :)
