I am a big record collector and have never heard of this spot and I happened to walk by with my friends so we wanted to look around. I most likely would have bought something because I have a bad habit of spending minimum $50+ on records but as soon as we walked in they asked us for a $5 admission fee to just walk into the store. I found that extremely odd and off putting. I honestly thought he was joking. He said we would get it back IF we bought something, which I would have but it was a turn off. There was a group of people before us who turned around also. Bad business for new comers.

Cool store and all but not very professional. Says they’re open 2-7 all week except monday meanwhile out of the 10 times ive gone by they’ve only been open once. Also deeply unprofessional how they respond to bad reviews on here. They call you a liar and rudely tell you to call their phone when you leave a review saying they are never open and what a surprise, they never answer the phone either. Had they not been so rude to other reviewers I honestly wouldn't be leaving this review but one look at this business’s comments and you can tell they’re more concerned with their online reputation for whatever reason, than actually selling any records. Would really be happy to see these people be more mature in the way they talk to the people who keep their business afloat, and would love to see them actually be open. I really hope Vinyl Asylum doesnt comment on this review calling me a liar and a hater. Im a lover of music and was extremely excited to have a record store near where I live. Imagine my disappointment when most people barely get the opportunity and to walk in the store because these people would rather insult their reviewers online than actually run their business. Has the energy of an elementary school bully

I walked by this place a week ago and there was a couple that walked in then walked instantly I was confused but we still walked in, when I was greeted there is a white sign that says if you want to walk around the store you have too pay a $5 admission and you'll get it back if you buy something, honestly not worth it, and they should put that sign outside the store, not worth the 1 hour trip.

Amazing collection of records and musical memorabilia. Owner seemed covid-conscious, as he asked me to wear a mask. I intend to return sometime and spend some money on things I don't need!

I've spotted a few celebrities backing up Mike's authentication. It seemed to be part of his process. Great place to kick it for a few if you're on Hollywood Blvd. HollywoodFL
