Records, games, toys, and other cool memorabilia. Explored this store for the first time and enjoyed browsing through the items. Lots of newer vintage items so think mostly 90s and up on toys, some 80s game cartridges. T-shirt selection on racks was good too. Stop by and find your favorite memory hiding on one of the many shelves.
Great selection of used products, but prices are not very competitive. This review is from the perspective of a retro video game collector.Inventory: 4/5- Tons of titles from past to present! It's a bit of a hodgepodge, but if you take your time and comb through the store, you're bound to find something good.Value: 2/5- Most prices are a little higher than market value. Even worse, the majority of the store's stock is behind glass with no visible price stickers. This means you may be forced into a conversation in order to evaluate and compare costs.Location: 3/5- Parking is limited. Store is clean, but somewhat cramped and cluttered. Could benefit from better organization and clearer signage. Feels a bit more like a flea market than a retail store.Overall: 3/5. The owners are friendly and very knowledgeable! I'd like to see them work on a pricing system based on market trends with the addition of clearly visible price stickers. I'll definitely be back, and will update my review if any changes are introduced.
Holy cow this place is a nostalgia paradise. If you're Gen X or older (or into vintage anything), you will love this place. New & used vinyl, CDs, video games, collectibles, refurbished stereo equipment, and a huge music t-shirt selection. We came up from our vacation in Nashville (via WA) and I've never seen a store like this. I could spend all day looking around. The owners were super nice and helpful. Their stock of vintage stereo equipment is impressive and I was surprised to find out they update the electronics in house so you don't have to worry about old transistors. I had to splurge and buy an old Radio Shack "transformer" they had on display. The excitement of finding it was just too much.
This store is absolutely wonderful and owned by two of the nicest people you’ll encounter in Bowling Green. All of the vintage items found here are of high quality- you won’t be disappointed by the selection and are bound to find what you’re looking for (plus some things you didn’t know you were looking for). The location is great as well. If you’re looking for vinyl albums, hard to find retro games, vintage equipment, a unique gift without the hassle of waiting for it to ship, or just some good old fashioned good conversation- stop in here before you go to flea land, great eacape, or mellow Matt’s. You will not regret it. Would give more stars if it were possible!
Have shopped here a few times before and had great experiences but today was SO different. Apparently, some children have hurt them in the past and broken a couple of used toys, so now children are HIGHLY frowned upon. We just left feeling so uncomfortable. Rude customer service because we had a child with us, who accidently knocked over a plastic toy and picked it back up and put it right where it belongs. The woman working literally walked around following to make sure he didn't break anything, which he never has done. He's a very careful little boy. We've seriously been in this store multiple times before and never had a problem, and the people working were fantastic. Absolutely ridiculous and makes me so sad because I did truly love this place. I guess just don't bring your children in for a visit. So sad, do better.
