The Sound Garden is our favorite record shop in Baltimore! It has a great collection of records, CDs, DVDs, and more. The vibe is really friendly and cool. It’s in a really cool part of the city too, right in Fells Point.

Great, large record store with many vinyls, CDs, and DVDs. You can find almost anything you're looking for here. Prices on new CDs are about the same as you would find online. Vinyls are cheaper than they are in big chain stores like Books-A-Million. Posters are cheaper than they are online. The cashier was nice.

Very cool record store. Lots of selection of CDs, Movies, AND Records. Everything is reasonably priced except newer items are a little pricier but nothing too expensive. They also have a great selection of awesome stickers. Definitely loved this shop and they have plenty of great finds for everyone!

Exceptional experience. After decades of careful curating and collecting, I had come to point where it was time for the next caretaker to take on my 1,200 plus vinyl collection. I wanted to ensure that each piece was appreciated, valued and ended up in the right hands. Soundgarden was the PERFECT solution. Having shopped their for years and having experienced first hand their professionalism, they were my first and only call. Adrian and Phillip came to my home, spent time getting to know not just my collection, but me as the collector and after careful consideration and discussion, made me a very educated and fair offer. More than just their knowledge of the special pieces I had assembled, their respectful, friendly and patient approach to the process made what was a very difficult decision a pleasure. I take comfort knowing that my efforts over the years were appreciated and that the fruit of those efforts, the records, are in the RIGHT hands to live on with the next collector. Huge respect and appreciation to Adrian and Phillip for all the time, empathy and respect. Not to mention friendship and laughs. HIGHLY recommended for anyone looking to sell.

I love this store. Not only do they sell records but also CDs and cassettes as well as fun novelty items like stickers, socks, oven mitts, dish towels plus board games and more. Highly recommend. They have a small parking area behind the shop that's free but there's also street parking and a lot nearby. Plenty of places to eat if you want to make an afternoon and check it the area. If you do, definitely stop at Sound Garden.
