Pretty nice selection of records, but the owner/employee wasn’t super friendly. He came and unlocked the door when we came up and seemed like he wanted us to the leave the entire time, he even recommend that we go leave and visit the cruddy antique store for records. The selection of new vinyl was really great, even though it was a bit overpriced.

A nice vinyl spot that’s out of the way and chill. It’s quite small, but they have a fresh selection of records so it doesn’t get stale. It’s an in-and-out kind of store, so don’t expect to sit down and stay a while. But the owner knows a lot about music, and is always willing to give recommendations based on what you tell him that you like. Lots of great jazz and blues records, as well as contemporary. There’s more of a focus on nostalgic or older records than new pop records. The ambiance is really nice, with light music playing in the background as you peruse their selection. If you’re into treasure-hunting for records, or if you’re a music head like I am, I recommend stopping by. A great addition to C’ville’s downtown.

This place is really awesome! The owner is very nice and seems to really like talking to customers. They have a wide range of vinyl from most genres and at multiple price points. To update, everything here is still great. The used record section is huge and everything is 7 bucks. There have been some real gems uncovered there for sure. They also seem to specialize in rare and limited albums, some of which are on display on the walls. Check them out

Worth a trip if you're visiting the area but don't have high expectations. The store is clean and organized. Highly recommend using the Discogs app while shopping as many prices here are substantially higher than they should be, even considering the convenience. Employee wasn't rude but also wasn't helpful. Didn't ask if we needed help, didn't explain the store layout, etc.Edit: Dropping from 3 stars to 2 stars. After leaving the review, the owner messaged me on IG about how my review was an injustice and insulting, then went on to shame me for leaving a review at all. Don't recommend and won't be returning.

Visited this store on Monday, July 18th, 2022. My daughter loves music and has a big collection of vinyl. We looked around the store and then she spotted a crate of records on the floor. Since at all of the other record stores, there are crates on the floor which are discounted, she bent down to look at this crate. He came over to her with a very condescending smile and kept asking if he could help her. She said no thank you and kept browsing through the crate on the floor. He said there are plenty of other records to look at and you don't need to look at those. Why have records on the sales floor and not want anyone to look at them? He was extremely rude to her when she didn't deserve that treatment. Don't waste your time at this store when there is not a very big selection and you'll be treated extremely poorly. You should go to Plan 9 instead.
