Cosmos is a full of gems! Always fun to dig here, finding singles, classics and beats. Have loved the back section organized by records sampled from producers. Rarities can be found but it can come at a price. They import from Japan and years ago the owner even gave me suggestions for record shops to check out when I was traveling to Tokyo. Appreciate the catalogue, their energy and the space.

Cosmos Records is one of my favourite places to take guests on my tour. I know that Cosmos is guaranteed to have the best selection of original pressings and hard-to-find records. As a personal collector, there is no better place in the city for funk, soul, jazz, hip-hop and Brazilian.

Really nice selection of Japanese City Pop records, funk, and disco. Super kind staff that actually engages with you and recommend other selections that are similar to what you're into :)

I hesitated to ask….So I said it’s French from the thirties or fourties’ ! And then yes…I sang a bar…( He may need therapy as a result)Low and Behold in Less than time it takes you to change your mind, he presented me with Pure Joy. I love people who know their stuff. Go Cosmos !

Good use of small space. Excellent Funk and Soul section and the rock section is well divided by band making targeted search easier. I was also impressed with their $5 selection. But as with all used vinyl stores nowadays, prices are higher than expected, especially comparing with new prices. But that's just the reality. If you're not after the "vintage" feel, and you get vinyls just to listen to the music, you're often better with new, IF you can find it All in all I was quite pleased with Cosmos, both locations.
