Been going to Play De Record since the late 90's. Always great talking to Eugene and the Staff. This shop is a piece of Canadian history if you ask me. Don't forget to check out the documentary - Drop The Needle.

An absolute MUST stop to have a nice dig anytime I’m in Toronto!The selection is incredible and the staff are always great to deal with.I would highly recommend you stop in but don’t take all the good stuff with ya!

Great record store, one of the best in Toronto. Always find something unique and fun going through so hundreds or thousands of records everywhere piled up in the store. And of course very nice staff and owner legendary owner Eugene.

What more can be said that already hasn't been mentioned about the legendary Play De Record? A record shop that is so great it has its own documentary! The guests on my tour always leave Play De Record with a smile on their face. Eugene and the staff are always super helpful and you never know which DJ you might run into while you are there.You can't think of Record shops in Toronto without thinking about Play De Record.
