What fun it is to shop at Old Dog Vinyl Records. Prices are right in line with other sellers. Every album I have purchased was VG+ or near mint. Then I found out seller has two locations in Mooresville. Follow them on Facebook. Always posting new inventory. Can't wait to visit again.

Any remotely popular used album was overpriced. Good selection of rock and jazz. Some new vinyl was for sale. Good selection of vintage equipment.

No suite number listed on web page. Went to 500 South Main. Walked around for about 10 minutes. Never found store. Will be looking at other stores

Located in a booth at the antique mall. Wide selection of used vinyl by older artists but not a place where you will find new releases or recent releases which makes since based on its location. Bought two albums in good condition and will definitely go back if I want to hunt for older music to build out my collection.

By far my favorite place to search for rare vinyl in Mooresville. The selection is great and they are intelligently priced, depending on their condition and desirability. I have purchased around two dozen albums from them and stall B-24 (another good place to find gems in the Main St Antique Mall), nearly all play amazingly well (many of the higher priced ones are actually VG+ or NM grade. Of course you should always inspect the (non-sealed) medium before purchasing (but please don't drop them off the floor!) If you use Discogs.com and check these records, you'll be shocked how many are first pressings. I estimate 80% of the records I have gotten from here are first pressings, with at least one sealed. In particular, I found: first pressings of The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan, Elton John - Captain Fantastic And The Brown Dirt Cowboy and The Band - Rock Of Ages Volume 1. At stall B-24 I also found first pressings of The Beatles - Magical Mystery Tour, Rolling Stones - Their Satanic Majesties Request, Prince - 1999, and Elton John Goodbye Yellow Brick Road. Between Old Dog Records (i.e. stall E-28) and stall B-24, all trips to the Main St. Antique Mall are always worthwhile. I will keep coming back to this place for sure!
