Great music store with a large vinyl selection. All of the vinyl I have purchased has been scratch/ scuff free. Very little selection of blues music is my only complaint, but this is a relatively new location.

Stopped into Josey’s new location in Plano this afternoon for the first time. I absolutely love the Farmers Branch location and was expecting a similar experience, but was left slightly underwhelmed. The layout was nice and organized but it was clear they were still stocking the store with albums. The vibe wasn’t on par with the Farmers Branch location and felt a bit suburban and sterile. Prices were a tad high as well. I look forward to coming back in a few months.
Absolutely my favorite record store, I probably go here at least once a week. Excellent selection of new and old records yet everything is organized neatly, making it much more digestible compared to the larger Josey store. The size is perfect to spend an afternoon browsing or if you're looking to just pop in for a second. Workers are friendly, the music they play is groovy, and one time they even gave out a 20% off discount code over the radio in the store that I have used incessantly. Compared to other record stores in Dallas, the prices here are much more reasonable and you really feel like you got a score when you come across a record you want for an affordable price. I hope they never close!
