Time Tunnel Records is a small but mighty record store off Ambaum! They've got an intriguing mix of records, DVD's, CD's and tapes to peruse through, you might just find that holy grail of an album you've been looking for! The owner, Matt Alston, has owned this Burien business for almost EIGHT YEARS and plays some great tunes while you shop around. There are also posters, t-shirts, memorabilia and much more to explore. A total neighborhood gem and one of the handful of Black owned businesses to check out in sweet ole Burien:)
I hadn't been in the store for at least 5 years when i moved out of the area. Moved back last week, and while paying for a couple records, the owner said he remembered who i was. Amazing. Bought 2 records which i wanted and he had them. Very nice owner. Will be coming back soon.
This was my first visit to Time Tunnel. Fun name because buying records is quite nostalgic. Owner, Matthew, super nice and desires to be helpful. Real decent prices on vinyl. He sells CDs as well.
Small but mighty record store with the owner behind the counter who has forgotten more about music than some will ever know. His recommendations and what's playing in the shop are always stellar!
Okay so I was DESPERATE to find a vinyl of this one specific song. It was the #1 hit during the year of my parents wedding anniversary and when I say that nowhere in the Seattle region had any vinyl anywhere with the song Endless Love, it's not an exaggeration. Until Time Tunnel and Matthew. He literally found me a record of the soundtrack from the movie. I needed it asap and he got it to me the next day. An absolute lifesaver and my parents loved it. I will exclusively be purchasing all of my vinyl from the store.
