As the other reviews have stated: WAY OVER-PRICED AND NOT VINTAGE RECORDS. I have been collecting for close to 13 years and have never seen a shop sell recently reissued albums labeled as original first prints until visiting this shop. Outrageous! Check the back of the album for it's release date before buying anything here. Then, look it up on Amazon and see if you can buy the same album for nearly a 1/4 of the price.
This is the place to go if you are looking for specific records in near meant condition. I’ve seen complaints about the high prices, but I have to disagree here. Records in this store are priced on the higher end of the Discogs price charts, but usually not at the highest end, and rarely above. However… None of these records have condition listed because they are all at the bare minimum VG+. I bought 20 or 30 records from this place and they are all in near mint condition. In my opinion, if I’m looking for a specific records, and I want them in good shape, it’s worth that money. Yes, you can look elsewhere and maybe find what you’re looking for in similar condition for a cheaper price. But that’s not what we’re talking about here… You go here if you want something specific and expect the quality you’re going to get every time. It’d a well-curated inventory. They also have a pretty good selection of $10 records downstairs, I frequently find gems in there. These are all also in very good condition. And another thing about the staff. Everyone I’ve dealt with here has been super nice to me and good conversation, which is the opposite of what I’m reading in some other the reviews. It turns out, if you treat people with respect, you might get it back!
Super pricy, I bought two records for $130 total, I later looked on Discogs and found that the total should have been more around $60, some of the things they sell claiming vintage are actually just represses.
V.V. cares about records. It looks small, but there are two floors. Each record bears a note - on archive quality sealed plastic- about provenance, date, interesting facts, etc.Wear your mask. 😷 I'll be spending more grocery money there.
Great shop with a very responsive and helpful staff. It's been my experience that their used vinyl quality is very above average and I've always been satisfied with my purchases. We'll organized and easy to find items - both in store and online.
